A man arrested by police for burglary was driven around a Devon city pointing out places he had raided – including nurseries, a sweet shop, small businesses and a branch of KFC
Shane Brown, of Warwick Avenue, Whitleigh, admitted two counts of burglary and asked for 17 other similar cases to be taken into consideration.
Plymouth Crown Court was told Brown, who has a long record of burglaries, was caught later breaking into the Chilli Orange cafe at Crownhill fort on February 28 this year. The owner had returned to the cafe to find a door damaged. Scene of Crime officers found evidence linking the scene to Brown, aged 39.
